Mrs. Abosede Aderibigbe, the Public Relations Officer of NYSC has come clean of the accusation and claim that the commission plans on reducing the number of graduates to be mobilized for the 2016 batch ‘B’ orientation course by 67 per cent. This was in an effort to pacify and clear the popular rumor already ragging on the social media platforms and in schools. She dismissed this by stating that the development was not the position of the scheme.

This was in response to the news that circulated that NYSC has mandated schools to only mobilize about 33% of their usual quote in preparation of the Batch B orientation course. This was apparently pegged on the National economic situation as usual.
In the interview she told everybody that no pronouncement has yet been made on the matter as the stakeholders are still appraising the situation. She advised us not to give ear to the rumors as it has no fact to it and that as soon as an official pronouncement comes, it will officially be made known to the public.
