Depression was created only in your mind; it’s not worth the stress. The devil is never happy whenever he sees us getting all we need in life; hence he comes up with different issues and uses it to distract us. First of all, you have to make up your mind that you no longer wish to be at the mercy of depression because it can always leave you when it sees you are no longer succumbing.  Avoid being alone, go out in the public where you can always see other people who can make you smile.
If you think you are depressed pr see any sign of depression in you, do these 4 things, it sure will help you get back to yourself.
1. Exercise: exercise will help keep your mind and body busy and in good condition also. The more you exercise the better chance you have of coming out of depression.
2. Eat serotonin-enhancing foods: Serotonin is a chemical messenger that’s believed to act as a mood stabilizer. It’s said to help produce healthy sleeping patterns as well as boost your mood. It’s even been looked at as a treatment for depression. This is because people who have depression often have a low serotonin level. They include; eggs, pineapples, fish, mackerel, turkey etc.
3. Change your way of thinking: have you heard? You are not any different from the way you thing. The moment you decide to start thinking and speaking positive things to yourself, the earlier and faster you start getting positive results in your life.
4. And pray always: This should be done all the time, it is God himself that said we should call on him any time we are troubled because he is ever ready for us. When it seems you cannot do it on your own, talk to God about it, meet him and tell him and he will solve anything that is troubling your heart.
