Inter Milan have put on hold plans to sign Liverpool defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva, say reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Reds had given the go-ahead for the former Brazil international, 29, to move to San Siro in the January transfer window.
However, the Italian sports daily now claims the Nerazzurri have instead switched their attentions to other targets, including the likes of Luiz Gustavo, Milan Badelj and Lassana Diarra.
