The fourth Summit of Heads of service of the five eastern states of Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu, Anambra and Imo has ended in Owerri, the capital of Imo state with a resolution to commence immediate preparations of a blueprint to enhance quality service delivery among the states, as well as to establish the Bureau of statistics for the collation and management of necessary data for effective economic planning and implementation of government policies.
The Summit with the theme ‘’Data management as a veritable tool for effective service delivery’’ suggested the invention of proper tools in consonance with best practices to provide channels and standard for quality service delivery to give birth to needed efficiency in the discharge of government business.
The Summit also afforded participants avenues for knowledge sharing through interactive sessions to boost government performance and service delivery.
