Hebrews 4:15-16 KJV
For WE HAVE NOT an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

It can feel terribly lonely when you face certain challenges in life. It’s even worse when the situation is so awkward that you find it most embarrassing to share it with another person for fear of being ridiculed. People can be cruel once they know your secret. They’ll feel they’ve got one on you and start looking for the slightest opportunity to pick a fight so that they could tell the whole world your secret.

Your nights become lonely and stretched as you toss and turn restlessly on the bed. Sleep flees before the eyes and the sighs increasingly grow longer as wave after wave of hopelessness wash over you.  As the light of dawn starts to peep through the crack in the door, anxiety increases the heart’s palpitations radically.

There’s really no need for the heartache and mental torture. We have an High Priest in Jesus.

The work of Israel’s High Priest was to stand before God as a Man, minister to God as a Man and in behalf of Man. The High Priest MUST be human otherwise he’s not qualified to serve in that office. Because he has his personal weaknesses and short comings, he is able to understand exactly how others feel. This is his major qualification to represent other humans before God. (Hebrews 5:1-3).

Jesus therefore became Man in order to experience what Man feels and thus qualify to become our Eternal High Priest / Representative before God.

He suffered everything you are going through right now and therefore understands your pains, fears, shame and exactly how you feel.

Why suffer in silence when you have a representative?
He knows exactly how to present your fearful thoughts, worries and disoriented prayers as strong petitions before Heaven’s throne of Grace.

Why don’t you talk to Jesus your High Priest today? Don’t worry about flowery language or perfect English, Jesus is a Saviour / High Priest and not an English Teacher. He ONLY listens to your heart, so just speak from the heart. Tell him about the problem, your fears, worries and all.  Then ask Him to help in the matter. Thank Him for dying for you and living again for you. Jesus NEVER condemns, He always encourages your heart.

Talk to Him about the problem, I guarantee you’ll find both heart peace and a solution. I just finished talking to Him too. I feel the lifting of a heavy burden. I chose to be smart, I left it all in His capable hands.

God bless you. Do have a blessed day.
