Matthew 18:32-35 KJV
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou WICKED servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the TORMENTORS [Jailers], till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye FROM YOUR HEARTS FORGIVE NOT every one his brother their trespasses.
Unforgiveness is a very terrible prison which people build for themselves. Anyone refusing to forgive is himself both the prisoner and the jailer while the offender roams the streets free and oblivious of your torments.
The redemption we have in Christ is actually interpreted as The Forgiveness of Sins eternally.
Colossians 1:14 KJV
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
It is inevitable that people will offend you just as you will also unavoidably offend others, whether you know it or not.
Please forgive, release and bless no matter what. No matter how deeply you have been wounded or how egregiously you have been wronged, it is imperative that you let all that go.
You cannot move forward toward what God has promised until you jettison all the baggage of the offenses of the past. Holding on to offenses and refusing to let go will only hinder and delay breakthrough in your life. Lingering offenses and wounds immunize you from the promises of God and hinder the manifestation of the blessings.
When true, heartfelt forgiveness is unrealized you become imprisoned behind the bars of every bitter memory. You’ll lose the zest for life. Good food in your mouth shall taste like the moldy bread of yesterday. Your drink shall be as the bitter waters of Meribah where the bones of the unbelieving lie bleaching in the sun even to this day.
Forgiveness may be tough due to bruised egos and rehashing of the offence BUT FORGIVENESS IS THE GREATEST EVIDENCE OF YOUR FAITH IN THE REDEMPTION IN CHRIST.
If you find it difficult to forgive others, your heart may never find it easy to receive the forgiveness of redemption.
No matter how you are feeling right now, say in your heart, “I AM NOT A VICTIM”.
Whether it feels real to you or not, please say out loud from deep within yourself, “I FORGIVE, I RELEASE AND I BLESS so and so that hurt me.” Go ahead and name every person whose wrongful conduct toward you preoccupies your thoughts.
Unforgiveness is like a poisonous plant that will spread its venom throughout the fertile ground of your heart until there is no more room for the promise. That is not your portion beloved.
It is time to weed the garden. It is time to root out the unregenerate and polluted growths of past disappointment, wounding, pain and resentment.
Bring them to the cross. Release them to the Lord. Shake yourself loose and move on. It is moving on time NOW!
The bright promise of God’s Goodness awaits you with the first step you take out of the past and into what is ahead for you in God. Let go and Let God.
Go ahead child of God. The prison doors have been flung open at Calvary. Exhale the poisonous breath you’ve held in for so long. Walk out of prison and inhale deeply of the rich salubrious air of God’s mountain of Freedom In Christ.
It’s a new day and things are turning around for your good now in the mighty name of Jesus.
Do remember that IN Christ, you are Deeply Loved, Doubly Blessed and Highly Favoured.
