2 Corinthians 9:10 KJV
“Now he that ministereth SEED to the SOWER both minister bread for your food, and MULTIPLY your SEED SOWN….”

We’ve looked at 3 of the 4 factors that affect the efficiency of seed. We shall now see the last one.
This is also a 2 part revelation.

Bible Faith is an inevitable aspect of a believer’s walk with God. Man in general needs some sort of faith or belief to enable life on earth become fruitful or bearable as the case may be. However faith is only as powerful as it’s objective focus.  Natural faith differs from Bible Faith in this respect. While natural faith derives from things and people, Bible Faith is established by scriptural persuasion of both the existence and the abilities of God.

Sin in the NEW TESTAMENT is described by the Apostle John as transgression.  “for sin is the transgression of the law” (1John 3:4)

Of course John could not have been referring to the Law of Moses which Christ obviously fulfilled and set aside (Matthew 5:17-18 / Hebrews 10:7-14). He was referring to Faith as a law or principle.

Romans 3:27 KJV
“Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by THE LAW OF FAITH”

Paul calls it “Faith in Jesus’ blood”
Romans 3:25 KJV
“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD…”

Everyone who exercises such faith or belief in Christ is declared righteous or “Not guilty” by God. (Romans 4:3-5)

This Law of faith demands that “The just shall live by Faith”.
Contextually, a “just man” refers to someone declared righteous by God as a result of his faith in Christ Jesus.

This law or principle demands that man must access, sustain and live true life by their continuous faith in Christ Jesus.
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so WALK YE IN HIM” (Colossians 2:6)

To “walk” is a Bible term that describes your day to day activities. This implies that since a personal salvation was achieved by faith, our daily activities should be determined, regulated and sustained by Faith also. Therefore, anything done by a Jesus believer without Faith, directly transgresses the “Law” of Faith and becomes Sin to them. Even the eating of food in the New Testament functions on this same principle of faith.

Romans 14:23 KJV
“And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, BECAUSE HE EATETH not of FAITH: FOR WHATSOEVER is NOT of (from) FAITH IS Sin”

Without Faith, God is not pleased. (Hebrews 11:6). In which case, His Blessing is not upon anything done without Faith.

**This stands to reason that the survival of ANY SEED SOWN without Faith is left to chance.

**EVERY SOWER must therefore understand & believe that WHATEVER they have the opportunity to give in Seed form ORIGINATED from God. (2 Corinthians 9:10)

** Consequently they must also believe that for the seed sown to become a harvest, God must be involved, regardless of human input.

1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV

This is where many people who purport to sow financial or biological seed fail to receive a harvest. They imagine that just because they sow a seed, harvest must come. Without the blessing of God as attracted by faith, the seed may become destroyed without producing.

Luke 8:5 KJV
“A sower went out to SOW his SEED: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and IT WAS TRODDEN down, and THE FOWLS OF THE AIR DEVOURED IT”

More to come tomorrow..

I acknowledge that EVERYTHING in my life is a potential seed. I confess that every seed is a gift from God and that I didn’t earn any of it;therefore I am grateful and humble. As I sow, I sow in faith trusting God ultimately for my desired harvest. Since faith is my access to all I have in God, I activate and release my Faith for a harvest of every good seed I’ll ever sow from this day forth. Amen.
