Genesis 1:12 KJV
“And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good”
A seed looks so tiny, ordinary, unimpressive and insignificant. However, size has got nothing to do with potential. Inside every ordinary looking tree seed lies the potential of producing a forest of fruit - bearing trees. A seed is the smallest unit of anything.
Some months ago, my wife casually threw away some already rotten tomatoes into her garden and forgot all about it. A few weeks later, we noticed new tomato sprouts. Amazingly, we harvested ripe fully developed tomatoes from what was casually tossed away.
All a seed requires to produce a harvest is locked inside the seed. It only needs to make contact with soil, water and sunlight. The outer shell of the seed acts as an inhibitor to growth by itself but contact with soil causes the seed to unlock the outer shell. When it does that, it dies in the soil and consequently releases the “life” it carries within, thus beginning a new cycle of productivity.
A seed holds the power to change a situation from famine to bountiful harvest. It is the secret of life on earth. It is a God established principle for continuous existence. To eliminate ANYTHING on earth, exterminate the existing ones. That singular action would have successfully eliminated that group on earth for there would be no seed left for continuity.
A seed is also a Covent principle for financial prosperity. The natural world merely mirrors the spiritual world. “As it is within the spiritual, so it is without or outside the spiritual”.
Understanding the power of seed will give the consistent practitioner an advantage of regular financial harvests.
Man is referred to in the Bible as TREE. (Psalms 1, Isaiah 61:3). This implies that every action of man is the release of a seed that would follow the natural process of seedtime and harvest.
The value and continuity of any tree is dependent on its ability to bear fruit. The fruit contains seed that are sown or planted to generate an unending cycle of seed in the soil, trees that are grown and fruits that are harvested, eaten and another set of seed obtained in that order.
To “eat” the seed is to destroy or interrupt the natural cycle of food production.
Seedtime is an indispensable law of harvest that God in the beginning tied to the duration of life on earth.
Genesis 8:22 KJV
“WHILE the EARTH remaineth, SEEDTIME and HARVEST…. and day and night shall not cease”.
We’ll write more on this in tomorrow’s piece. Until then, stay blessed.
The answer to fruitfulness is “seedfulness”. I am not a seed devourer, I am a seed preserver. I am not a seed eater, I am a wise seed sower. I understand the laws of harvest. As long as I have seed in the ground ALWAYS, I can never be stranded. This is because I’ve created a rhythm cycle of harvest. I operate by COVENANT Sense and not COMMON Sense. Amen.
