Job 34:3 KJV
For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

Nobody eats food set before them without first tasting it. When their palate approves, then they go ahead and eat. If the food is not tasty, then most people like me may not eat.

In like manner, every word that comes your way must first be tested by your inner ears, if the words you hear do not pass the tasting exercise of your heart, reject them.

The parameter for “tasting” in this case is the word of God. The rule here is: Does what you are hearing agree with what God said about you?
If yes, then eat and do swallow it. If no, then spit it out.

Your health is greatly connected to your diet. Food and drink are necessities to a healthy body, therefore your ingestion will determine your digestion or congestion.

Exodus 23:25 KJV
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Because sickness mostly springs from food and water, God promised to bless the food and water of those who serve Him.

The Father however places the responsibility on us to taste our food before eating. Therefore we must actively watch what we allow in.

The food of the human spirit is Words. When Jesus used words like “Eat my flesh and drink my blood”, he was not alluding to cannibalism. He was rather using eating as a metaphor for hearing and receiving His Word into your heart.

Not every Word from a Man of God comes from the God of Man. Taste every food / word before you eat. Check your Bible (The food pot). If the contents of the pot do not match what is on your plate, dump it.

” Ebuberism” must be preceded by “Akonucherism”. Glory must be preceded by wisdom.

Shalom Beloved. Do have an awesome and favour filled day today.
