2 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV
And he said unto me, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness”...... [10] ....... for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Nearly every believer has an area of challenge that they constantly battle in their lives. In most cases, it is a character defect, a habit, attitude or peculiar situation that they truly desire to be rid of.
A thousand prayers, long seasons of fasting, endless hours of counseling and buckets of tears of regret seem not to impact the situation in any way.

In these situations, you must learn to trust the strength of the Love of Jesus. Your own strength obviously cannot effect that change you desire. Right in the midst of your pains, guilt or agony, hear the voice of Jesus saying “My strength is made perfect in that weak area of yours my child”.

How else could you best understand the Grace of God except that in the midst of those moral weaknesses or challenging situations you still find God demonstrating His might in your life?

Born again believers are created 100% perfect IN Christ but the influence of the yet unrenewed mind will however constantly manifest itself in ugly traits that the child of God is not proud of. Let’s face it. A great angry outburst in public, practical fisticuffs, a wagging tongue of gossip, sexual immorality, cheating, borrowing, stealing and all such things manifesting in a believer’s life are not edifying at all.  Perhaps you’ve been genuinely crying out to God to intervene and help you change and it seems like the more you pray, the worse you get. It is to you that this piece is addressed.

Take all those weaknesses and seemingly unchanging situations and by a simple child-like prayer of Faith, hand them over to Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

His Love will see you through even as His Grace manifests in the situation as everlasting Mercy. Instead of constantly feeling bad about the situation, let your Faith in His Grace assure you that Jesus has taken charge of it all.

Many times, the reason for such seemingly overpowering flaws or situations is to prevent pride and judgmental attitudes in us against others who are struggling. The biggest revelation of Grace is the realization that in spite of having your weaknesses, Jesus still loves and still uses you. When you take that and in kindness apply it to others, Grace happens and the Father is glorified.

Don’t worry, fret or sweat over that challenge today. The Father’s heart of love for you understands it all and His loving hand reaches out to help you today. Allow the strength of Jesus to operate unhindered in the weak places of your life.

May you truly be blessed beloved.
