James 1:22, 25 KJV
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein , he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed”.
Prayer is a necessity for every true believer in Christ Jesus.
Prayer is an expression of Faith in a higher power and consequently a petition for assistance in times of need. However, no matter how important prayer is, it has its own place in the school of success. A lot of folks want to remain in the place of prayer and just hope for the best.
After prayer, action is required to demonstrate a person’s faith in the prayer made.
If you’ve prayed for healing for instance, the corresponding action should be to attempt to get up and walk.
If you’ve prayed for finances, then by all means demonstrate your faith by stepping out of the confines of your home and searching for work or business.
If you’ve prayed that this year be a good year, then get the gloom out your thinking. Become positive, start expecting good things to come to you. Be on the lookout for the multiple opportunities that will open up to you and be prepared to maximize them.
When you do this, you are moving from petitioner to practitioner.
You are actually “doing” the Word according to James 1:25 & blessing (success) shall become your portion
Rise up, it’s a new day and a good day to prosper. Every good thing awaits your agitation.
